Description
Brembo master cylinders improve response and control in all conditions. The result is an outstanding linearity between the force applied to the lever by the rider and the braking response, which translates to a unique, unrivaled feel.
The master cylinder body is milled using CNC technology from cast aluminium alloy. A hard oxide coating is used for the surface finish.
Brembo radial master cylinders are available with 15 to 19 mm pistons with a pivot distance (for standard or folding levers) of 16, 18 or 20 mm.
The RCS 17 s compatible with ABS systems
The Brembo RCS radial pump has been the product that has revolutionized the world of braking systems in the last decade.
The radial pump is so defined for its configuration such that both the force of the fingers on the lever and that of the lever itself on the piston act in the same direction, ie radially with respect to the anchor point of the pump on the handlebar. This means that all the force applied to the lever is transformed into a braking action, ie braking becomes powerful, constant and precise.
The RCS system patented by Brembo moves the interaxis of the lever through the rotation of an eccentric.
Switching from one configuration to another is really simple and allows you to adjust the braking according to the characteristics of the circuit, of the weather or between road and track.
The braking power will always be the same, but the feeling will be perfect!
Technical features:
- Piston diameter: 17 mm
- Lever distance: 18 / 20mm
- Material: CNC forged aluminum
- Finishing: Hard anodizing
- Mass: 350gr.
- Brake Fluid: DOT 4
The RCS radial master cylinder is available in three different versions: 19, 17, and 15.
The numbers indicate the diameter of the piston and define the respective applications for the two versions: the 19RCS must be used in a dual disc system with 4-piston non-floating calipers, whereas the 15 RCS may be installed in single or dual disc systems with 4-piston floating calipers.
